COMMUNITY AND SUSTAINABILITY
Celebration Box - Our Aspirations
We are a New Zealand owned and operated business who not only focuses on delivering great Gift Boxes, Flowers and Sweet Treats nationwide, but we also look to see how else we can support the team of 5 million. As a young company (Celebration Box was established in 2018) we're like most young, fast growing companies, we're limited in resources and the biggest way we support NZ is by expanding our business. Growing our business allows us to contribute to the economy by employing more staff, paying taxes and buying an increasing number of goods and services from other NZ companies. On that front we're doing well with Celebration Box doubling the staff it employs each year and we've expanded significantly the number of local products we sell. We've also made a conscious effort to offer fruit baskets and gifts for those with special dietary needs working with our sister company Paddock to Pantry.
We'd like to do more and with our customers continued support we hope to increasingly help:
- Future leaders who need a guiding hand.
- NZ charities that need assistance with raising awareness or donations.
- Those taking an active role in sport who could make NZ proud.
- NZ owned businesses and entrepreneurs.
- Suppliers that are Sustainable in what they do.
This doesn't mean we're going to stop selling what our customers want, which is often international brands curated in a way that makes a perfect gift. But we are conscious that where it makes sense to, we can and should promote products made right here in NZ.
Celebration Box Supports Future Leaders
Every so often you see something amazing and you think "they could help change the world". If we can help future leaders in some way, we'll try. An example is here:

We're a proud sponsor of Life Education Trust, who empower tamariki and rangatahi with knowledge and strategies to make positive choices for their health and wellbeing. The Harold Club mobile classrooms support kiwi children aged 5-13 with how to deal with current and growing issues including anxiety, resilience, cyber safety, and hauora by using specialised lessons.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, we are helping Breast Cancer Cure to raise funds for their charity to help vital breast cancer research in New Zealand. We are doing this via the sale of our 'You Are Amazing' cookies, that can be purchased as an add on cookie, or as a cookie gift box.
In November 2021, Celebration Box and The Wild Rose had on offer of a Craft your Own Flower Box with $5 donated to the Mental Health Foundation. The funds from the Craft your Own Flower Box went towards their ambition of helping individuals’ mental health and wellbeing in Aotearoa flourish.
Melanie Kennerley who is an owner of Celebration Box is heavily involved in supporting a large number of charities. In particular she works with Totara and Franklin Hospice, being the Hospital Buddy co-ordinator that assists Kids First and Starship, OKE, and Middlemore Foundation.

Celebration Box Supports NZ Businesses & Entrepreneurs
Celebration Box was born from the hard work of two young ladies that went through some truly turbulent times as pioneers of online shopping and influencer marketing. From that experience we know young leaders might need some help! Celebration Box supports small businesses where it can through the purchase of their goods, but with advice and coaching. In particular our owner Wayne Kennerley helps a number of business with advice and guidance. Other organisations we support are:
